Membership

We are a Fort Worth family swim association.

Membership at RPA is open--anyone may join. Pool use is for members, guests and third parties that have contracted rental arrangements. Our members come from all over Fort Worth, and beyond in nearly all directions. While most of our member units are families, we welcome and have membership options for couples, singles and senior swimmers. Annual dues cover open swimming 6 days a week when school is not in session, group lessons for member children, dedicated adult swim hours 6 days a week, and special events. Members may join the swim team(ages 5 through adult)at a discounted rate.
Our members-only format allows us to enforce the rules that help maintain a safe, family-friendly environment that generations of swimmers have enjoyed for over 65 years.
About Our Facility...
Ridglea Swimming Pool Association(or RPA for short) is the last of the 50’s era private neighborhood swim clubs in Fort Worth. It’s located conveniently on the west side, just off of I-30, in the North Ridglea neighborhood. The main pool is Olympic-size, with a diving well. We also have a generously-sized junior pool. Both are surrounded by extensive deck, shaded patio and lawn areas. Swimming and safe enjoyment of our pools and grounds are the order of the day at RPA. On a typical summer day you'll find kids splashing and laughing, adults playing along or enjoying a lap swim, something sizzling on the grill, a lively game of volleyball or one of our lawn games taking place on the lawn, maybe a child's birthday party taking place on one of the patios. Members may bring guests, host parties(guest fees apply for non-member swimming occasional or party guests), use our grills, enjoy their own picnic, or have food delivered(no glass, no alcohol). Our concessions counter offers a variety of drinks and packaged snacks for purchase. The basic bathhouse provides restrooms, dressing and shower facilities as well as changing tables. Swimming and safe enjoyment of the water are the order of the day at RPA. Swimmers are under the watch of lifesaving/first-aid/CPR-certified lifeguard staff at all times. There is a hydrolift for individuals who need it for entry in and exit from the pool, and wide steps for those who have difficulty with pool ladders. Other accessibility amenities include parking and ramps, as well as an alternate entrance, as needs require.
